Verner Panton ‘Panthella’ Lamp
The Panthella floor lamp is a classic Panton design with his telltale flowing lines and geometric forms. Designed in 1971 in a variety of bright colours the Panthella series is typical of Pantons organic style and love for colour. His aim was to create a lamp where both the shade and the foot of the lamp reflected light. The hemispherical shade reflects light downwards and the trumpet shaped base spreads the light diffusely around the room.
The stem is made of steel and the light source is hidden under an opalescent acrylic shade. The on/off switch is on the base. The Panthella floor lamp, with its’ a soft, comfortable light is lovely in living areas, bedrooms or any spot in your home or workspace that could do with a classic, iconic piece.
